About Us
We're a growing community of Florida off-road riders who'd rather be on two wheels than anywhere else.
F.A.T.E. — Florida Adventure & Trail Exploration — started as a Facebook group and has grown into a community of over 9,000 riders. Whether it's a weekend trail day, a group ride out to one of Florida's off-road parks, or just swapping stories and wrench tips, F.A.T.E. is about riding together and looking out for each other on and off the trail. Riders of all experience levels are welcome — the easiest way to jump in is through the Facebook group.
Riding Areas

Ocala National Forest
National ForestOcala, FL
-Does require a permit to ride here, follow link. Ocala forest is one of the largest areas you can ride in Central Florida area. Both plated and OHV can ride here, though in their respective areas. Most start from the south area (Wandering Wiregrass) or the north area (Rodman Dam trailhead). Can find many GPX files in the Facebook files tabes.

Richloam WMA
WMASumter County, FL
Richloam is special. Its mainly a wildlife management area for hunting and camping, but because of that there are trails everywhere. It's known for its swampy type water holes and black mud. Expect to get wet during the rainy seasons. But also probably some of the best trail riding you can do in FL. Most meet at the FireTower\Ranger station as there is plenty of parking and a good central starting point. Just across the street is the Richloam General Store.

Croom Motorcycle Area
OHV AreaBrooksville, FL
Off-highway vehicle enthusiasts in Central Florida will find miles of trails within the 2,600-acre Croom Motorcycle Area (CMA) at Withlacoochee State Forest. Croom is used by all types of riders, from pro motorcross racers to weekend riders. Expect to see lots of people riding, including ATVs. There is even a technical riding area you can sign up to us. Onsite campground with RV hookups.
Upcoming Events

Sat, Oct 10, 2026, 9:00 AM – Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 4:00 PM
I know it's waaaay early to think about the Fall Foliage Ride, but I wanted to remind everyone who's coming of the importance of early accommodations. If you're even thinking of coming, you should book lodging now. This is peak tourism season in the area and cabins book-up a year in advance. Plus there are always other, bigger events at TWoS on that same weekend, so plan ahead. **Update** All the cabins and rooms at TWoS are rented. You'll have to find accommodations elsewhere. Contact TWoS here: https://twowheelsofsuches.com/ There are also multiple Airbnb rentals available and some wineries/resorts in the area that offer accommodations. Here are some cabins just up the road from TWoS: https://www.kennedycreekresort.com/ There is also camping at TWoS & other more remote sites in the area.
